Lionsgate CEO, Jon Feltheimer confirmed the release of John Wick 5 during a recent analyst call. He explained that John Wick 4 which will premiere on May 27, 2022, will be shot back to back with John Wick 5. John Wick 4 which was set to be released 2021, shot down production due to the Corona Virus pandemic. According to Lionsgate CEO, The two sequels scripts are being prepared by the team. He added that their aim is to shoot both sequels next year depending on the availability of Keanu Reeves. No writers have been announced yet. Although Director Chad Stahelski, who has been directing the movie since its release, is confirmed to be a part of the two sequels. The John Wick action franchise has earned US$579 million so far from its first three movies at the box office.
