Aliko Dangote, the richest person in Africa and the 162nd richest in the world with a net worth of US$8.2billion in July 2020, is a Nigerian billionaire businessman. He is the chairman and founder of Dangote group established in 1977. Dangote was born on the 10th of April 1957 into a wealthy Kano family. His father was Muhammad Dangote and mother, Mariya Sanusi Dantata. He married his first wife, Zainab at the age of 20. A marriage arranged by his family.
