Ordered online, shipped to wrong address, can't get ahold of customer service
Does anyone have any advice for getting a hold of someone at IKEA customer service? I placed an order online and recently found it was unable to be delivered due to being sent to an invalid address. I originally had the wrong address (fat fingered house number) online but fixed it before placing the order; however, despite the IKEA website showing my correct address, the order was still shipped to the wrong one.
Two packages were delivered (not sure to whom as the incorrect address doesn't exist) and just today I received notification that a third package was unable to be delivered due to address issues. FedEx won't allow me to correct the address, instead insisting that IKEA must do so; however, I'm unable to get ahold of anyone at IKEA. No matter when I call, their automated system says they are too busy to put me on hold and it simply hangs up on me. I've now been calling for three days.
Anyone have any advice? Am I just SOL? I looked online and saw similar situations where the person resorted to filing a chargeback with their bank and reordering but I'd rather not do that.
