College Football Gambling Guide- October 10, 2020

By Tim Birkmeyer It’s another Saturday, which means we have a slate of college football across the country. Soon, we’ll have the Big Ten and Pac-12 join the party so we can bet for over 12 hours on a Saturday. Last week, we went 2-2 in our picks which isn’t bad, but we can do better. Last week I dropped the ball and missed the noon games, but this week we actually have some good games at noon, such as Florida-Texas A&M, Virginia Tech-UNC, and the Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma. After that, there’s not too many good matchups, but it’s still football. Actually, the board isn’t great all day long, but here are my picks for today’s games: *Note/Disclaimer: I am by no means a gambling genius. Please take my picks with an air of caution and please bet responsibly.* Florida (-5.5) at Texas A&M (-110) – Back to back week’s we’re going with the spread against Texas A&M. They are a great team but Florida has been dominating this year and the two Kyles (Trask and Pitts) will continue their chemistry at Kyle Field in the passing game. Look for Florida to win this game by a touchdown or more. Oklahoma Team Total OVER 38 Points (-115) – I really want to take the over in this game, but I still remember the Big 12 championship two years ago where I lost a lot of money. Anyways, back to back weeks we have a team from Oklahoma scoring more than 38 points. I’m not sure who’s winning this game, but Texas is giving up, on average, 44.5 points per game in their two conference games. Oklahoma is 0-2 in conference and unranked in the first time in awhile, so they have a chip on their shoulder and will put up some big boy points today. Virginia Tech Money Line (+125) at UNC – If this was a normal season, these two team’s ranking would probably be switched. Virginia Tech is almost at full strength and they have their Defensive Coordinator back on the field. UNC is a good team with Mack Brown, but VT is just overall more talented and will win this game ugly, but will still win. Tennessee (+12.5) at Georgia (110) – Do I think Tennessee is all that great? No. Do I think this is a trap sandwich for Georgia, who played Auburn last week and Alabama next week? Yes. I think Georgia will win the game, and I want them to blow them out, but I just can’t, especially after a not-so-great performance last week. I like Tennessee to cover here. Miami (FL) and Clemson OVER 59.5 Points (-110) – Big Hurricanes fan tonight, but sadly they will not take down Clemson. BUT, there’s going to be a lot of points scored in this one. You know Clemson is good for about 40 and although their defense is amazing, Miami’s offense is good enough for around 20 and this over will hit. Notre Dame Team Total OVER 37.5 Points (-115) – Not sure why I like this, but I like this. Notre Dame can score some points, and Florida State’s defense isn’t so great. Notre Dame also hasn’t played in a few week so they are well-rested and FSU is coming off a game where they gave up 24 points to Jacksonville State, so Notre Dame will be hungry! So these are the 5 picks for today. The good news is with having an odd number of picks is that you either win or lose, there are no ties (unless Oklahoma pushes). Once again, please take my picks with some caution and please bet responsibly. But, let’s have some fun today and let’s make some money! What are some of your picks? Comment below!
