There, I Fixed It: Lenovo X1 Carbon 6th Gen Ethernet Port + Thunderbolt Port fit
| I have been struggling to use the second Thunderbolt port next to the Ethernet port on my X1 Carbon 6th Gen. After trying different docking stations and hubs (which could not support 4k 60hz refresh on my monitor), the simplest fix was simply cutting about 2-3mm of insulation off both the USB-C cable and Ethernet housings. A bit ugly, but it works. |
