Yoga 9i (i7, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) pre order for $1650?

[TL;DR: Is the Yoga 9i with Intel i7 11th gen, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD for $1650 worth it or should I get the C940/Spectre 13?]
I'm looking for a new laptop for college and light photo/video editing as well as video and music streaming (YT, Netflix, Spotify,...).
I've narrowed down my choices to the HP Spectre 13 or the Lenovo Yoga C940 14". I also saw that the Yoga 9i 14" will be coming out soon and I can pre order it for $1650 (student discount) with the following specs:
Intel i7 11th gen, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD.
This seems kind of "inexpensive" for a premium laptop with those kind of specs and really tempting.
Do you think that it is worth waiting for the 9i or should I go with the C940 (or the Spectre 13)? What do you guys think of the C940 14"?
