Lenovo T540, wanting to add additional SSD

Hi, I am new to PCs and I have this model with 1660TI, 16GB Ram and 256gb SSD. I want to add around another 1TB of SSD.


Can someone help me decide what SSD type and size or what I need? And how hard will it be for me to install? I’m a super newb so feel free to explain like I’m 5. Thank you very much
