Yay! Delivery Success Story!

I just had a very large kitchen order delivered and I wanted to share with you guys how it went. for reference, I am in New York in the lower Hudson Valley.

I did the online design consult on Dec 9th. Julianne was super helpful and once my design was complete, she went to work adding the odds and ends to make it complete (toe kicks, etc). She called me back with the completed order and let me know that she was able to create an order for the majority of my items (a little over 5K) and the rest would be sent in a separate invoice and I would have to find those items on my own. I was able to choose my delivery date and as I had a garage full of Xmas gifts, I chose to wait until the new year - January 8th. I placed the order the next morning.

I received a call the night before my delivery date letting me know of my window and the next morning I checked my tracking and it was out for delivery! About an hour into my delivery window I got another email saying it was rescheduled for the next day. I called and dialed "432" (thanks Reddit!) and was told after a lengthy hold that yes, my order was delayed for one day. I want to add that while I did have to wait a long while for my customer service rep to contact the shipping company, she was super nice and popped back to me every few minutes to apologize and ask if I was still able to hold.

I got another call last night notifying me of my delivery window for today and when I woke up, I had tracking info again. I was able to update all day and see how far away the truck was and also get up-to-date info on what exact time they were expected to arrive.

They called when they were 10 minutes away and when they arrived they got to work unloading into my garage. They were on time, worked quickly, were nice, wore masks, and were fairly delicate with the packages.

All told, I received every single item I ordered (136 boxes) and other than one box that was slightly damaged, everything looks good so far. Now if I could only find those damn 36" lower cabinets....
