Do you think a pax wardrobe can be moved without disassembly provided you remove all the shelves/drawers?

I'm moving house and the wardrobes don't look like they'd be easy to disassemble. It's a huge full size one made of one large section and two narrower sections. Technically I can move it out of the house without disassembling the structure, I took the doors off, the drawers/shelves out etc.

To disassemble it further would require a looooooot of work and I don't know if I'd be able to manage it myself so I'd have to pay for them to disassemble it, and worse, I don't want to assemble it at the place I'm moving yet as I want to get the carpets replaced first. I'm also scared removing the backboard etc will damage it in itself

Do you think it would survive being lifted and manipulated by a few people out of the room, around some corners/stairs and into a van? I personally can't see why not if you're careful and I will be helping and overseeing but at the same time if anyone has any experiences like 'We rotated it and it fell apart in our hands' then I'd love to hear!

Many thanks for any advice, the thing is a nightmare!
