Lenovo is such a horrible company
Buyer's beware, buying a Lenovo laptop was by far one of the worst things of 2020. Came with factory defects, ie bent screen and defective hinge. I said "okay guess this is why I got the warranty".
I sent my laptop in for repairs over 2 months ago, after a month and seeing the ticket update every week or so I call them. The first person I talk to says that my computer is being repaired and she will have the repair center email me on the status of my laptop.
A week later still no email so I call again, this time a different lady says my laptop hasn't even been touched yet. I ask about the repair ticket updating and she informs me that those updates are handled by a completely different department and don't mean anything. I asked her "so are those updates just lies?" To which she responds "yes sir" at this point I'm extremely frustrated and hang up.
A little more than a week later I find out I have a business trip and will be gone for 6 weeks, well I need a laptop to do work while I travel so I call support yet again about my computer. I give the lady my case number and she informs me they don't know what happened to my computer and that they need to escalate my case. At this point I'm baffled, how long has this been known? When was I going to be contacted? She informs me she doesn't have access to much information on the matter but I will be assigned a case worker and they will call in 24-72 hours. I ask for a supervisor and I'm told I can't talk to one. So now y'all don't even know if you lost my computer I paid you over 2k for and I now have a business trip coming up fast that I need it for.
I call again on the 3rd day after not receiving any call from Lenovo regarding my case escalation, this time the person says my caseworker should call me in 5-7 days! What happened to 24-72 hours? At this point I have to go and buy another laptop just so I can do my job. I'm extremely displeased and can't believe all the lies you feed your customers.
