Harare: Pakistan women’s team has arrived here on Thursday to play the first-ever international series here against Zimbabwe. 

The green shirts will play three T20Is and as many 50-over games against the host team, starting on February 9. The 50-over games will serve as preparation for Pakistan ahead of all-important ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers later in the year.

Earlier, Pakistan played three T20I and as many ODIs against South Africa in their backyard. South Africa beat green shirts by 3-0 in the ODI series whereas 2-1 in the T20I series. Pakistan finished the tour on a high note by winning the last T20I by eight runs (D/L Method).

13 Feb – third 50-over match, Harare Sports Club

16 Feb – 1st T20I, Harare Sports Club
