Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 15ARH05 Wifi speed drop issue
| The wifi does this weird thing whenever the laptop is not in the same room as the router. The connection speed drops down to 0kbps in fixed periods. New laptop, its doing this from the day it was bought. I tried uninstalling the wireless drivers and reinstalling from manufacturer website, even let windows do its thing of grabbing the drivers after uninstalling the wireless card in Device manager, but this still occurs. Other devices on network are able to access internet properly and face no problems. There are no efficiency options as such in driver settings for the wireless network adapter and i haved removed the checkmark next to allow pc to turn off this device to save power. This issue does not occur always and usually goes away after a reboot. Sometimes it says i am connected to network, but it still is not able to access the internet, then the wifi card vanishes in task manager and device manager for a minute before coming back and working fine-ish. Any help is appreciated! |
