Why is it so hard to get a Netflix client for Linux?

As the title suggests, I'm just wondering why over the many years of Netflix existence why haven't there been a proper working client for it on Linux?

I understand factors like low number of linux desktop users makes the development not really worth it but in the few years I have spent on the Linux world, I have noticed someone always comes up with a work around for such issues even though it's not the official client.

I have looked for a solution for a while now, checking every few months for news of a solution. Nothing. I have to use the Web version which I don't really like.

Is there something that makes it harder to build? Other programs such as telegram and spotify have proper linux desktop clients, why not Netflix?

If anyone has a solution for this, I'd truly appreciate. Also, is it possible to install the Netflix website as an app?
