What kind/brand of screen protector would you recommend for a touch screen laptop?

Just ordered a Yoga 7i 14" 2in1 laptop. It is my first laptop and also my first touch screen device (not counting phones).
I really prefer matte screens over glossy ones, but real glass over plastic. I have two monitors for my desktop computer with matte screens, they are built with the matte finish. I am worried cheap matte protectors will ruin the screen quality and "resolution" on the laptop, that is built with a glossy screen, if that makes sense.
Mainly, I will study and watch youtube/netflix. I will also do some lighter picture and video editing and learn to do some digital art with the touch screen and the active pen.
Please comment with your experiences and recommendations for finishes and brands.

tl;dr, first time touch screen user looking for mid grade screen protector, preferably matte. What brand and finish would you recommend for a touch screen and active pen?
