''Unauthorized battery. May pose a threat to safety''
Title. I use a 5 years old Z50-70 and months ago it started not to charge and shut itself down when disconnected from the AC. Wasn't a problem since I always use it plugged in but today it suddenly turned off and the notification in the title popped up. I believe it said weak battery before but now it says that. What should I do, should I completely remove it and buy a new battery? Can I use the computer without the battery? I'm afraid that it might explode, is that probable or is it a long shot?
All help appreciated. Note: It is the original battery. Never replaced it, never opened and checked it.
