So I’ve noticed the screen on my iPhone 12 Pro scratches in a really strange way that my iPhone X or iPhone XR did not.

When I turned in my X for a trade in, the screen was pretty much flawless after 3 years of use. My XR is a work phone that I don’t even use a case with and is also flawless after 2 years.

My iPhone 12 Pro started to show strange marks on the screen after a month. I could pretty much wipe them away but after a day they’d be back.

It feels like it’s some sort of wear pattern from the rivet on the corner of my jeans pocket when I pull out my phone.

Does Ceramic Shield make the screen less prone from shattering but more prone to minor scratches? I never drop my phone so I’m not terribly worried about a shattered screen (even if that happens it’s a cheap one time fix), but I’m more annoyed about the screen getting scratched up easier…..
