Bindi Irwin Celebrates First Mother's Day With Baby Grace
This weekend, is celebrating her first Mother's Day with her daughter, And no one is more excited and filled with love about that happening than Bindi herself.
To commemorate the occasion, according to , Bindi shared a couple of artist's renditions of both her family and her husband, Chandler Powell's family, on her Instagram stories, both with little Grace Warrior front and center.
"Celebrating my . This day embodies the extraordinary gift of family," the Crikey! It's The Irwins star wrote captioned her Instagram post.
The new mother went on to say, thank you to artists from The Monkey Brush for the portraits in which both her family and Chandler's family were "brought together" in "stunning works of art," according to .
Bindi said, "I wish we could all be together but sometimes life has other plans," referring to her late father, Steve Irwin not being able to be a part of her or her daughter's life as a result of his passing after a tragic stingray accident nearly 15 years ago.
Bindi concluded the post with a sweet note to Grace, saying, "To my beautiful daughter, always know that you are loved beyond description."
Fans were able to get an update on Grace a few weeks ago when the proud mom showed off Grace in her first zoo khaki shirt for her one-month photograph.
At that time, Grace was also introduced to some star tortoises who accompanied the little one in her picture. Their presence did not appear to phase Grace, as the tiny Wildlife Warrior appeared to promptly fall asleep just moments into having her picture taken.
Not surprisingly, Bindi was not the only one taking to for Mother's Day. For his part, Chandler posted to Instagram as well to leave a sweet Mother's Day message for Bindi, telling her what an incredible mother she is.
"Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing wife," Chandler said. "This is your first Mother’s Day yet it feels like you’ve been doing this forever."
The loving post ended with Chandler saying how "lucky and grateful" he and Grace were for Bindi being in their lives and how much both loved the mother-of-one.
Of course, Bindi could not leave the monarch of the family out of the Mother's Day love.
Earlier this week, the conservationist posted a picture of herself with mom, Terri Irwin, on Instagram, thanking Terri for showing her the "infinite power of a mama’s love."
Bindi went on to say, "I love you beyond description."
The whole family enjoyed a Mother's Day celebration Saturday, as apparent from brother, Robert Irwin's Instagram photos, in which both Bindi and Terri were celebrated.
According to Robert, the day included not only a "lovely" picnic but an "impromptu guitar jam" as well to let the women know how special they were. And between the , singing, food, flowers, smiles, and more, it appears that it truly was a special Mother's Day, indeed!
