Mandy Moore In 'This Is Us' Makeup Breastfeeding Son Is Too Real

Many moms have to take or breastfeed their babies and is no exception. However, when she her son at work, sometimes that happens to be in full makeup. And earlier this week, that makeup proved to be a bit too real as the actress was made up as the elderly version of her character on This Is Us, leading Moore to jokingly wonder if she was confusing her son looking as she did.
On Thursday, Moore shared a picture to her Instagram stories that showed her breastfeeding her son, August "Gus" Harrison, 10-weeks-old, while on the set of This Is Us.
The singer shared that she had just finished wrapping Season Five of the hit series, in a video where her son's arm can be seen on Moore's chest.
"Now I'm just feeding my child. I hope he's not gonna need therapy for this later," Moore joked, in full makeup as the older version of her character, Rebecca Pearson, while breastfeeding.
The Tangled actress also regaled fans with photos of herself on the way home from the set in full makeup as well, according to . One of which was captioned, "Last day of work on Season 5 for this lady. Can't believe it."
As a result of going back to work in the early stages of breastfeeding, Moore found herself having to pump while on set. That pumping, she shared, had led to a painful clogged milk duct, according to .
Moore later shared that she had found a way to remedy the situation by doing "football holds" and exclusively on the side with the clogged duct. Among the other remedies that she was actively participating in, one was "hot Epsom salt baths," which Moore took a selfie in for her post after getting home from the set extremely early in the morning.
Outside of the one-clogged milk duct, the mother-of-one has had very few issues when it comes to feeding little Gus.
According to , this is something Moore attributes to the fact that she had a "grueling labor" and that the breastfeeding gods decided to "smile down on [her]" when it came to that department, per an episode of Informed Pregnancy Podcast.
Moore shared that she had , something that is very common amongst mothers when they start breastfeeding, according to . However, the Saved! actress shared that she likened the experience to that of playing the guitar and how fingers were sore until calluses are built up.
"You get calluses on your nipples and it doesn't hurt as much," Moore said on the podcast.
Fortunately, for both Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, with whom she shares Gus, the infant is a great eater, not to mention sleeper as well, according to People, per the podcast. As such, as far as newborns go, it appears the couple hit the jackpot!
