IBM Associate Certified DBA – Db2 12 for z/OS Fundamentals
IBM is pleased to announce the release of a new certification – IBM Associate Certified DBA – Db2 12 for z/OS Fundamentals.
This Associate DBA certification is an entry level exam for a user of Db2 12 for z/OS. This individual is knowledgeable about the fundamental concepts of Db2 12 for z/OS through either hands-on experience or formal and informal education. They should have an in-depth knowledge of the basic to intermediate tasks required in day-to-day administration, basic SQL (Structured Query Language), understand how to create databases and database objects, and have a basic knowledge of database security and transaction isolation.
To attain the IBM Associate Certified DBA – Db2 12 for z/OS Fundamentals certification, candidates must pass C1000-122, Db2 12 for z/OS DBA Fundamentals.
This exam consists of the seven sections:
- Planning
- Working with SQL and XML
- Security
- Operations
- Data Concurrency
- Application Design
- Working with Database Objects
