NSW’s lockdown will lift on Monday. What Covid restrictions change after the 70%, 80% vaccination milestones and beyond?

Pubs will reopen and home gatherings will be allowed from Monday – but only fully vaccinated people will enjoy the new freedoms in the first stage. There’s more freedoms on the way once 80% are fully vaccinated and from 1 December the rules ease for unvaccinated people

New South Wales has reached 70% double-dose vaccination coverage of the adult population and, as a result, fully vaccinated residents are just days away from coming out of lockdown.

The new freedoms will be introduced on Monday and they include having visitors to the home, going to restaurants and bars, and the reopening of most retail and service businesses – including barbers and hairdressers.
