The Giants broke a MLB record with their 18th pinch-hit HR of the season, top Pirates prospect Oneil Cruz made his MLB debut as the tallest SS (6’7″) in league history, and Alek Manoah’s 20-game stretch of dominance being cemented in Blue Jays history. Mitch Haniger collected an electric go-ahead RBI for the Mariners to keep their season alive during a crazy AL Wild Card chase.
