Outlook

It’s almost hard to believe that one man can make such a huge impact, but L.A.’s is a major difference-maker. If the Seahawks can’t keep him relatively in check, he can blow up their offense. Last season was one of the few cornerbacks who could handle one-on-one. That means the Rams can double .

Combine those two facts, and Seahawks quarterback will throw plenty of check downs to receivers and tight ends. That is if he can escape the pass rush.

On the other side of the ball, new Rams quarterback has the most talented group of receivers he’s worked with in his 13 NFL seasons. So far, it’s been a good marriage. L.A. struggled on the ground this year, so Seahawks safeties might sit back a little deeper in zone coverage unless they blitz.

It’s an angry Rams team coming into Lumen Field after losing their first game of 2021 last week. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks appeared to right their ship in the second half last week. It will be close, but the home-field advantage and a crowd of fired-up 12s lead the Seahawks to a 23-21 win.
