Manuel Wagner takes 2021 French stock touring title
The fourth and final round of French 1/10th on-road nationals was held at Mini Racing Team Essonne located in Evry, near Paris. The race weekend started on a sunny Friday with practice, but it was not the same story on Saturday and Sunday. Only the first qualify could be raced on dry track just before it started to rain without interruption until the end of the weekend. In the stock touring class, Alexandre Duchet (XRAY/Orca) was able to take the TQ with two TQ runs followed by Pierre Delorme (XRAY) also with two TQ Runs. Alexandre took the win the first 2 finals to secure the overall victory. Behind him, Pierre had a bit more trouble in the wet conditions during the first 2 finals and that benefitted to Manuel Wagner (XRAY/Orca) who could grab the 2nd step on the podium and take the French stock touring title. Gilles Rasquin (Mugen Seiki/LRP) rounded out the top 3.
Rémi Callens (Mugen Seiki/PRT) brought home the win in modified touring in front of Antoine Brunet (XRAY) in second and Lucas Urbain (Awesomatix/Orca) in third.
