In my previous post, I discussed how self-improves your lifestyle. The same can be said about your dating life as well. Many men think money, status, good looks, and power are the keys to attracting women; they’re right. But the one essential component they leave out is confidence. Without it, you’ll be a good-looking man who has power, status, and money but lacks the skills to successfully seduce women and move your interactions with them in the desired direction.

I’m not a mind reader, but whenever I converse with women and ask them what qualities they look for in a man, confidence is always at the top of the list. I spent years reading books, reading blogs, and watching youtube videos trying to figure out the perfect words to say to a woman whenever I approached them. I soon learned that it’s not about what you say but how you say it and your body language.

The way a woman responds is entirely out of your control and depends significantly on her attraction level for you. If she’s not feeling you – you can say the smoothest thing, and it will get you absolutely nowhere. On the other hand, if she’s attracted to you, you can say, “Mama Say Mama Sa Mama Coosa,” and she’ll think you’re funnier than Dave Chapelle. Beyond your words is the energy. Let’s explore further.

CONFIDENCE IS KEY

Imagine for a second that you’re boarding your flight. When you get on the plane, you find the pilot panicking, doubting his ability to fly the plane. I’m pretty sure this would cause you to become uneasy. You might even consider getting off the plane. On the other hand, you get on the plane, and the captain greets you with a big smile from ear to ear and even cracks of few jokes over the intercom. The confident energy from the pilot makes you feel comfortable and eases your doubt of a disastrous flight.

The same can be said in your romantic life. When you’re confident in yourself, it creates a comfortable atmosphere for women and creates a space for them to be themselves. Comfort is necessary because it allows you to assess the chemistry between you two accurately.

When you ooze with confidence and have a sense of direction, women will be a lot more prone to follow you to your desired destination. They may even offer resources to help you get there sooner. On the other hand, women will be unsure of you and your motives if you’re unsure of yourself. Take it from me; that’s no fun.

So get it out there. Make mistakes and learn from them. It’ll only make you a better, more experienced man in the end.
