Gazprom Export, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian gas monopoly Gazprom, and Greece’s Mytilineos have signed a long-term contract for natural gas supplies, Gazprom said on June 1.

Gazprom Management Committee Deputy Chairman Elena Burmistrova said the contract provides for gas supplies to Greece in the period from 2020 to 2030.

There is demand for Russian gas in the Greek market and the two countries plan to further strengthen the interaction in the energy sector, Burmistrova said.
